This motion design piece was done as a promotional video installation for Project Violet, a groundbreaking step in cancer treatment technology. The piece was done using imagery of peptides, protein maps, and molecular structure renderings of actual substances used to produce the amazing cancer treatments. The sunflower at the end is a nod to lead researcher Jim Olson's serendipitous pondering of the flower's own ability to create and secrete a natural pesticide which lead to his pursuit of the research that created this technology that has changed the lives of so many. It was truly an honor to be able to work with Jim, and meet his team, and we are even more honored to have this work on display at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA
